Hi, I'm Govind

I'm currently an incoming 1A CS student at the University of Waterloo. I love all things related to technology but am most interested in Machine Learning, AI and AI in games. The idea of a bunch of 1's and 0's playing games is fascinating to me. I am currently exploring Reinforcement Learning and Unity Game Development. I also enjoy competitive programming and often solve problems on Leetcode and Codeforces.

When I'm not coding, I like to work out, practice Karate(I'm a black belt), play video games and watch Netflix. I currently play a lot of Valorant and Overwatch with my friends. Working out is something I picked when I realized I was letting go of myself and decided to make a change. Since then I have fallen in love with the gym and all the perks that come with it. My favourite Netflix show is Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

My Work

Flappy Bird AI

I created this AI to play my rendition of Flappy Bird. It uses the pygame module and the NEAT algorithm.

Number Predictor

This number predictor uses a CNN built with Tensorflow and Keras to classify digits drawn on a Tkinter GUI.

Sorting Visualizer

This sorting visualizer made with the Python language and Matplotlib helps one visualize a number of commonly used sorting algorithms.

Battleship Project

A grid based, Battleship inspired game written in Java. This project was created by a friend and I as our final project for our Grade 12 CS class. Check out his portfolio here

Unity Game

A current work in progress. 2 of my friends and I are working on a FPS platformer game in the Unity Engine with scripts written in C#. Github page coming soon.
